A warm welcome to you all!

We have had a great start to the year thus far; numbers are picking up, we have come from behind and taken back the lead for the Trades Sword, activity has improved, new promotions have been occuring as well as new positions. All very pleasing to see :)

Now I really want to see this continue, but I feel we can better this and pick it up so more!

I want:

* the Coastguard running on its on feet!
* every unit position filled with an eager Cadet/NCO/Officer!
* a second ship!
* continue to recruit and bring in new members
* the Navy to show everyone why we are the flagship of the WCC!!!

Commander(N) Cameron Mackenzie, you're Executive Officer. Check my profile for my msn, yahoo and skype details, add me as a contact and catch up with me....we have lots to talk about :) We have a chain of command here and I expect it to be followed, though in saying that my open door policy is....well....open!

Write to me anytime about anything, I'm here to serve you all and I will help any way I can.

2010...the year of the Phoenix!

Commander(N) Cameron Mackenzie

March is upon use and it seems like the year is moving on by at a fast pace!

I have experienced a slow start in taking over the position of Coxswain from my predecessor, CMCPO (CG) Alain Bourgeois.  He left me with some big shoes to fill (size 18 I think?).  Nonetheless, I know I can fill them.

During the month of March and going into April the XO and I will be working with Divisional staff Executive Staff to bring the unit form an Orange Status to a Green Status.

So far, for the month of March, we are leading in the Trades and Qualifications.  We did very well for the month of February with 44 completed.  Let complete of 50 for this month.

Finally, yet importantly, be sure to visit the forums and the blog on a regular basis, as a lot of information is poster there that affects you.  More so, it is also your opportunity to get to know one another.

Yours Aye

Master Chief Petty Officer(CG) Jonathon Ness
Coxswain
